At long last, finally, I got my own website! I have been thinking about creating one for more than a decade, but never had a chance to do it. The major reason was, I was too busy to do it. Secondly, I did not have sufficient materials to upload. The last but not least reason was that I did not have a motivation. I’m so excited to have my own site finally.
As anyone who created his/her own site would know, preparing a website is a very time consuming process. Even if you have a high-speed Internet access, it takes time. However there is one rewarding aspect, i.e., it gives you a chance to reflect yourself. I was able to review my artworks from a different view point.
When you are making a work of an art, you easily lose a sense of objectivity. The more you are into it, the more difficult to keep an objective point of view. As a result, you become unable to fairly appreciate your own work. However creating a personal website allows you to view your artworks as a third person. I found it very beneficial as a sole artist like me. Also, it is an interesting discovery that I had never imagined.
I hope that my website will grow as I create more. Today is my second birthday.
